So last week I decided I would replace my ancient laptop with a new M11xR2. After ordering (06/08/2010) it I realized that I could've have used a few coupons and gotten a 12% discount through my company. I called the day after (06/09/2010) and I told me that I could not cancel the order because it was "in production."

They said if the discounts could not be applied to the order and I would have to return the laptop and re-order it. They said if I placed a new order when I return the first order then I wouldn't have to pay an fees. The catch is I would have to pay for (2) laptops on my dell preferred account and have to carry over about $300.00 to a seperate credit card...

So after about a week of talking to service rep after service rep I managed to get a hold of a manager today. They cancelled my order after a 10min. phone call (which leads me to believe they just didn't want me getting my discounts).

Now I plan to go back to an EPP sales rep explain my horrible experience and see what they can do for me. Then I'll use my EPP discount, $100 coupon, and %3 preferred account discount. I'm hoping I can get a free monitor and printer out of this experience but we'll see. All-in-all I'm pretty frustrated but I think it will work out for the better.

    Wish me luck! :D
