 Sometimes, but not all the time I would say about 20% of the time when I turn on my computer the gt335 does not show up. Also the graphics mode does not show up and I am unable to switch to it with ctrl+f6. I have the "latest" driver from Dell. To fix the problem I have to restart my computer then it magically works again. It is starting to get annoying especially since I usually use my netbook to game. Anyone else have this problem or know Ihow to fix it?

Sounds like a software issue. Best bet is to do a clean install to rule that out, but again, it sounds a lot like a software issue. Unless your M11x lived a hard life and had participated in some extreme sports like table jumping, hot potato etc.

Or its actually something to do with quantum mechanics. You need a physicist for that.

I installed the latest driver which enables 3d which I will never use, but I have noticed a huge decline in battery life. But whatever, I have not had my non integrated card shut off since. So new driver that sucks my battery life works. Never a easy fix...

Yep seems like the R1, and yes I also have had plenty of issues swapping - now run discrete only and get beep errors on boot-up - just seems the R1 had lots of issues if you were unlucky and had the one built on a Friday.

Try a clean install and cross fingers there is nothing else you can do.
