For you bleeding edge driver users ONLY. Use at your own risk.

Nvidia has just released driver version 259.12 for their Quadro desktop cards. Since Nvidia uses a unified driver architecture and the drivers include the proper Optimus files all that should be needed for the drivers to work on your M11xR2s is a modified INF.

    Download 259.12 @ Nvidia
    - Windows 7 x64

    Modified INF
    - 259.12 M1xR2 Optimus

    Instructions put together by kopicha
^need confirmation on these instructions and that these drivers work. They are untested right now as I do not have an M11xR2.

For those who don't want to be on the bleeding edge, the Officially released Dell 257.30 drivers may work better for you. See here for more details.

Nautis stated that he can't test it. He's only providing the info for us to do so.

Yep. Looking forward to hearing feedback.

Modding the Optimus stuff is so darn easy compared to Hybrid Graphics, I do it to just take a break from the frustration. Its nice when there are just a few simple string changes and everything works. This is one of the many reasons I recommend Optimus over Hybrid Graphics. The driver side of H.G. is just a sloppy hacked together mess (and I mean just the package in general). I have a much more elegant solution in the works though. :D Oops.. off topic sorry.

Installing now, I'll get back with any noticeable differences from the 258.96 driver that I was using. Noticing a very long install for these (259.12)

Ok big improvement on the witcher in FPS but froze and crashed after only 5 mins of play. GPU not O/C

I check a few more games and maybe 3dmark 06 but it looks like these drivers are too unstable

The Witcher has been extremely crash prone with all of the drivers I've tried on the M11x. I finally gave up and finished it up on my desktop where it played without issue.

Sorry dude not big on shooters on the pc - used to be back in the quake 2 days. So I don't have those.

for those guys who wanted to know if 3D vision will ever work it wont. A 3D vision option appears but pluging in my 3d ready 120Hz samsung tv and I get this error when the option is selected. guessing that because the nvidia outputs through the IGP that it isn't possible. More games coming

Yeah I had major issues with it until the 258 driver. Then it played without crashing once for a good 20 hours. Also like all drivers so far I have crahes on fallout 3.

I just ran around the town in FFXIV for a little while and it seems a little better frame rate wise. I had fraps up but I can't remember what FPS I was getting and where with the 257.30 drivers so it's no guarentee, but I saw 30 FPS running into the main town for the first time ever. Once I got in it was only around 18-22 with drops to 12 in some areas though. Still nothing to brag about, i'll test it tonight to see if it crashes. At least it starts the game, unlike the 258.96 drivers.

I played ffxiv for 4 or 5 hours without any problems. Can't say for sure if it was much better frame rates than the 257.30 but it was definitely stable.

these drivers didnt fix the battlefield bad company 2 "multiple direct3d" punkbuster crap. I wish someone from one of the 3 damn companies would work on this. one of the main reasons i bought this thing was that my ole asus f3sv's 8600 gs didnt play bc 2 worth a crap.

however , for the 4 minutes i got to play performance seemed very close to 286. levels if not a hair better so im gonna keep them on for now.

Noticed this morning that brightness can't be adjusted on battery mode. Do you think it could be these drivers?!
