I wonder if the intel hd graphic has anything to do with the problems I have been having with this new driver update from nvidia. What version of intel hd graphic are you guys using?

For my case, I'm using the latest Intel drivers (8.15.10.2266). Like I stated in my earlier post, I'm pretty sure the Intel drivers do not have to do with the problems with the new Nvidia one because I used my old factory default Nvidia drivers with the newest Intel drivers with absolutely no problems. My Steam games are screwing up with the 266.58 for some reason.
Also, an update from before, I tried using the community driver (265.44 was it?) for the R2 and that yielded the same result - L4D2 crashing after loading and Direct X versions not detected properly in other Source engine games. Just in case, I'm going to try the 260.99 driver to see if this happens again.
I guess I'll have to go back to the default drivers, then. -
NVidia seems to have dropped the ball once more with these latest drivers, WoW started glitching with the last community drivers but got worse with these. I'm back to using the 260.99 for now.

You'll have to wait for a community driver. Nvidia doesn't support hybrid technology with their notebook drivers.
-
Where can I download these hybrid moddified drivers from?
Thank you. -
No issue to report so far. It's doing a great job for me.

Anyone try these new drivers with World of Warcraft Cataclysm? Can we see the water effects now in high detail?

Yes I did. No we can't.

I hear alot of complaints with this optimus deal. Kinda makes me glad i went the r1 route lol
-
when installing the drivers does it show that the gpu can't be detected? do you need to modify the inf to get it to work?
-
No. This driver DOES support Alienware M11x R2's Nvidia Geforce GT335M graphic card.
-
cool, i think it might have been an older version of the driver that didn't do it even though it was supposed too.
