it only says improved performance for BF3 so i doubt it will be very noticeable... Doesn't mention any % or anything.

Though i probably am the only guy on internets that don't care about BF3.

On the other note, theres nothing of any interest in this update what so ever to me :/ hope next one has something nice. Anyways on with the updating, i like them drivers latest.

EDIT: Love the little slide show :) explains the extra few megabytes over the old release.

Best driver for me so far. It boosted Mafia II for me, before I couldn't have the PhysX enabled because it gave me a living hell, now it's running smooth.

    R.I.P the GT335M

I love how yet again I'm stuck with obsolete hardware.

    Why is that?

Did the GT335M all of sudden start performing more poorly, just because new drivers are out?

Questions from a new M11x owner and a true optimus newcomer:
What is the procedure to update the display drivers? Can I slap the new 285.62 whql drivers over the old ones? If I want to update the Intel HD drivers, i have to uninstall both nvidia and intel then install in order intel drivers then Nvidia drivers?
    Thanks in advance.

just slam the new nvidia drivers, and slap em well. Can update intel ones as well if you feel like it, though no real point in that.

I use uninstall the Nvidia drivers, boot into safe mode and run driver sweeper before installing new drivers but now I just check the Clean Installation box when I'm installing the new ones. It seems to do the trick.

    +1 I think the R2 just can handle BF3!

Looks like this will be a 360 game for me.

The driver clearly says that it supports the 300M series, so I'm not sure what darkdomino means and I have to wonder why you quoted him. Did you mean "can't?"

    My M11x R3 came with 267.something which scored 980 in 3D Mark11.
As you can see in my sig, it gets almost 100 points more with 285.62

Edit: Pretty happy with the new drivers - at least in terms of 3dmark performance :)

Don't worry, you're not missing much. These drivers are working for me but the performance is terrible.

I have m11r1 U7300 @1.37Ghz overclocked to 1.73ghz with 8GB ram and Nvidia Geforce 335m series card. Today I downloaded the driver version 285.62 I performed a clean install and everything seems to be fine except when I try to open the Nvidia control panel it says "You are not currently using a display attached to an Nvidia GPU". I understand that it isnt recognizing my card and it is running on the Intel video card since my has an option of switching cards. Now I do not have that option anymore and I have no idea how to fix this problem unless I reinstall the original version of the driver which i really do not want to do. If there anything you can help me with, it would be much appreciated. I tried searching the forums for such topic but did not find, sorry for the double posting if it already exists.

You may have to reinstall the drivers, but it should be fine.
