Downloading now. Hopefully Skyrim will run a little smoother outdoors.
-
I noticed about 2-3 extra frames in BF3 and its a lot smoother.
-
-
I never played on 280.26 but I can definitely say these new BETA drivers are a lot smoother and more stable on my R3. Not much stuttering at all.
-
This BETA driver is useless for those who wish to play L.A. Noire.
I have no idea what Nvidia were thinking, not making a graphic driver for Nvidia Optimus that is compatible to the game.
I am sitting with the game installed but only being able to play with my integrated graphic card. -
Whats wrong mohaa7???
And I had no luck with these drivers. For some weird reason my gpu throttles down with these. Oh well. -
Nvidia Optimus cannot run the game. -
"Fixes cases of irregular performance (stuttering)"
yeah, this driver definitely improved on/fixed this! I'm comparing with the 285.62 drivers. -
I tested this one and I can tell that it still gives less fps than the 280.26, at least they have gave me less fps when I tested, but I did it just one time and I need some confirmation because of it, it could be less smooth because of some weird reason, who knows, so maybe I'm wrong.
Can another person do the test? Looks like only me did this test... -
-
I can't really tell if there's a FPS difference in Skyrim, or any other game for that matter. I'm starting to think that all these driver updates will have little to no effect on the GT335m
-
You won't see much of a difference between 275.33. They stopped updating things for the 300 series gpus.
-
Any point in R1 owners dling?

With the 280.26, I was getting an average of 20 FPS, dipping to around 16 and getting as high as 23. In a jet, strangely, FPS jumped to around 40 though.
With the 285.79, I got around 28 FPS, dipping to around 23, and getting as high as 32. Didn't get to test jets, but I would assume it would be able to at least match the 280.26.
I'm running on custom settings as follows:
( settings chosen with advice from this helpful article)
Textures: ultra
Shadows: medium
Effects: low
Mesh: high
Terrain: low
Terrain Decoration: low
AA: none
AA Post: high
Motion Blur: off
AF: x16
AO: SSAO

That's great improvement!!! -
And just a question: is the HD Audio better than the X-Fi audio with 3D enhancement? I was wondering... -
No idea about the audio, sorry! -
Thanks for the comparison ZeroCell, that was a huge improvement.
16x AF is pretty solid. Does lowering it give any sort of gain in fps? -
-
Nvidia nowadays focus mostly on 400 series and 500 series.
300 series have long been ignored since 275.33 with that huge improvement.
It is possible that ZeroCell might have exaggerated the FPS.
People just want to feel that the updated graphic drivers to work much better than previous ones. -
This is what I should've have stated.
-
About the same as before, around 28 FPS. Dipped to 20 for a moment during explosions with tanks, though it stayed consistently from 24-30 FPS the whole time. Jets jumped to 36 FPS during takeoff, and back to around 28-30 while flying around the map.
@Rypac: Lowering AF gives about 2-3 more frames per setting drop. -
-
what is the driver more stable to gt335m?
