    Hello everyone,

I keep having this strange problem with my gpu. It is always at 450 MHz and showing 281% of usage when actually not in use. It does throttle correctly when in use though, so I'm puzzled. I tried about every available driver to no avail.

    Any suggestion?

    Tnx

EDIT: It doesn't seems like false readings since it does heats more when not in use. (!)

What program are you using to monitor the usage and clocks?

    Try using GPU-Z.

I just did, I get the same results...

EDIT: I'll contact tech support and will report their answer here.

Ok, after a couple of tests, it seems like Orbmu2k GPU Observer is the cause of this strange bug. With this widget closed, the GPU acts normally. So a word of advice:

DO NOT USE Orbmu2k GPU Observer

EDIT: I confirm that without the previously mentionned widget, everything is fine.

    CASE CLOSED
