So there have been a couple things said in interviews and on this forum by Alienware hinting at a new product in the m11x range.

It just occured to me that we might have some sort of razer edge product in the works... Thoughts? How does a tablet sound? How about keyboard docking eGPU boosting? Woudn't that be perfect?

The m11x was a very successful product. I do feel that the m11x was simply not ready for ivory bridge release as hoped for, and so the line has taken a back burner and so on. Thoughts?

What features in a new m11x would be the best?

I'd much prefer another traditional ultra mobile laptop rather than a tablet with a keyboard dock, the Razer Edge is frighteningly overpriced! A $999 11-inch laptop equipped with an i7-4700MQ and GT 750M would, in my opinion, be perfect.

I want to see an M11x successor. Not necessarily another 11.6 inch ultramobile (maybe a 12.5 inch), but another sub 14 inch unit would be most desirable.

I would rather another m11 as well, with the new processors and newer video card. Could also be something bigger (12' or 13'). We have no info on any of this but if anything is brought to our attention we'll post it here def. :)

I would like see another m11x. The ultraportables just do not have enough graphics card power. Not sure if I want to settle for a 14 inch model though. I would like something lighter in weight.

11-13" screen with no built in DVD drive required and a good GPU.
And if the base width is 30cm wide or less I'd buy it.
Miracast/WiDi and NFC would be a nice 'touch' and then there's USB 3.1

I got tired of waiting for another sub-14" to arrive from Dellienware and went with a new 14. I couldn't resist the matte 1080P IPS panel that they finally figured out a way to recess. For what I use it for it's a bit larger than I like. I'd sell it in an instant if they offered a 12.1"-13" with no a matte IPS 900P panel, optical drive, a good GPU and corresponding cooling.

Yeah I am with you there... I would sell my 17 in a heartbeat to get a new 11 or 11extreme.

No thoughts on a keyboard that hosts extra graphics/proc cores and battery life?

The vision, as far as I can see... Epic mobile computer with proprietary AW awesomeness and potentially cool sync features like Nvidia shield streaming or something (i mean seriously that thing is a toy, but hey it is eyecandy)
PRICE POINT: ~500 (think surface RT, except with 8.1) running on terga 4 (which has eCPU potential)

Yoga style keyboard dock (you can imagine the wonders this would do for cooling) with haswell eCPU and nvdia or amd eGPU and extra battery/ eCORE dedicated battery/psu.
    PRICE POINT ~900 for 4700 and 765; 2k for 4930x and 780m etc.

    Further thoughts?

Oh, and another thought... the keyboard dock could also be a wireless/portable standalone desktop.

I'd buy a decently specced ultra portable to use on the go. Would make the choice to build a desktop instead of buying another gaming notebook that much easier. :p

I would buy a m11x relaunch, and there have been rumors (I cannot recall a link off the top of my head, I think this was on Kotaku, but one of the Dell/Alienware designers said that the m11x shook up the market and that they'd like to shake it up once again sometime soon).

They are waiting for the ULV haswell to come out. When those chips hit (late 2013) we should see something come out.
