Hello all Ive been a long time lurker researching on the m11x and had a hard time deciding between the r3 and the r1/r2 But after carefully watching the dell outlet i landed a R3 I5/1GB Gt540 6gb Ram 500gb for 726 shipped and couldn't pass it up.

Coming from an Asus G50vt-x5 (which i still have) and my desktop i7 920 8gb ram Ati 4870x2 500gb hdd

I wanted the most portable laptop with the most amount of power and battery life being really important for me.

Now after having it for about 2 months I can honestly say this laptop exceeded my expectations by far.

Battery life With (wifi on bluetooth off brightness 50%)= 6 hours
(wifi off bluetooth off 0% brightness)= 7:45 min

The games ive played have performed flawlessly Battlefield 3, COD:BO, MW1 MW2, Dead island, Deus EX, ect...

The only thing ive bought for it has been a laptop cooler with 2 fans

Heres a picture of my setup

Glad to hear you're enjoying it!

I have one all wrapped up from the missus for my birthday, can't wait to get it up and running in 5 days time!

Just hope Skyrim runs well on my r3.

As for that setup, all you need is 4 heads to use it all at once! Nice!
