High, apologies firstly if this is in the wrong section but I've a quick question for the denziens of New York...

I'm a citizen of the UK who'll be heading out to New York in the coming month, the price discrepancy of the M11x between the UK and USA is quite staggering, so I was wondering if retail outlets like 'Best Buy' still stock these machines? (the website along with other American retail stores seem to suggest that they do not)
Rather than waste some time next month searching for something that is only available through Dell's website, could anyone enlighten me?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated,

    Thanks!

I've never seen the R2 available in stores, but the R1 was fairly widely available. If you're going to be in New York City, there are a couple Micro Center stores in that area. I know they've stocked the R1. Can't say if they have it in stock right now.

You might be able to order online from someplace like Newegg and have the item delivered to your hotel. Not 100% certain how that would work, though.

I do not think they carry m11x's anymore. I would suggest to go though the dell websites. If you believe in all the speculations, wait a bit for the new models, but if not go through dell website.

How long will you be staying there? if your going to be staying for a while why not just order it from the dell.com website and have it ship to the US address? Or if its not a short time, you could just pick a quick ship configuration for $1000 i think.
