    New comer to the m11x space :D

    So I just ordered my m11x (10 minutes ago) being so excited with ordering i forgot to look at what color case I chose. So when I got the receipt for the laptop on my email, it said "lunar shadow".

    So I checked the website and its the only color they had available. I know that the lunar shadow is gray, but can someone post up some pictures of it, right now im 50/50 on whether I should cancel my order or not.

    I don't have any images but I'm sure you can find some off the interwebz.

    Why would you cancel though? Lunar Shadow is known to keep the fingerprint marks away better than the black does. And seeing as your going to be taking this baby around (I assume) than you would want the gray for when you hold it at the lid when transporting it.

    Yeah I've been searching the m11x section for lunar shadow pictures, and I'am liking what I'm seeing.
    Also I've been reading that the black attracts alot of fingerprints, and me getting the r1 model I don't have the option for the matte finish either.

    I also got the r1 because the site had a deal with the 500gb hdd and 4gb of ram, and also the r2 model here in norway is close to being twice as much.

    So judging by these pictures the lunar shadow has a gun metal like shade to it ? no?

    You won't regret the Lunar, I really liked it, but was upset at first for not getting the black. But it looks great in person.

    The picture above would be correct had it been a M11X R3 but the OP ordered a R1 so the lunar shadow does not look as good. The difference is that the R3 has a soft touch finish while both the R1 and R2 have the "Oooh reflective" and fingerprint lid.

    IRL lunar shadow looks a bit lighter in shade not as dark as in the pic in my last post.
