    Hi guys,

Title says it all... I ordered a refurbished m11x R2 with the bluetooth module - specifically because I want to sync up my razer orochi...

After going to the windows "add new device/printer" it is not syncing up. I also don't see any BT internal device here (though I am not sure if I should, should I).

Also in the device manager, I see no mention of a BT device.

Can someone with a BT module do me a favour? Is this device in your Device Manager somewhere?

    thanks again!

Is it enabled/disabled in the BIOS?

I am quite sure it is enabled in the bios. But I will double check tonight.

down load the driver from the Broadcomm site, and run it. I had the same problem with my new R2 no blue tooth in device manager. Tried dell's driver still no luck when I tried the makers site Joy it worked.. good luck.

Thanks alienwolf, I'll try this: Broadcom.com - Bluetooth Software Download

It seems to be the only thing on the broadcomm website. I'd hate to have to open up the m11x to really find out...

I wonder - for those users without the bluetooth module, are you able to "Enable" it in the bios?

yes, it can be enabled in the BIOS without the module installed. All it does it activate the internal UCB port where the bluetooth module is installed at :)

Well, I ran the broadcomm software, and can't do the first step - which is Detecting a BT device.

After a fresh reboot, nothing is in the Device manager (in case the BT module was turned off to save power - feature you should disable)

Also, in my bios, BT is enabled.

    Thanks Dell... ugh
