Well I went to order my M11x this morning. Thought I might check the dell outlet first just to see what they had. I ended up finding what I wanted for $200 cheaper than what it would be for a brand new one. This laptop was a "Certified Refurbish" not a scratch and dent. I'm assuming they wouldnt mail me junk. Anyway I decided to roll the dice on this thing. I dont get the engraved plate, or any preloaded game options, but I suppose this is worth the discount. I was wondering if it would still ship with the alienfx and the alienware OS style? Hopefully I didnt make a mistake.

    Laptop: i5/250gb HD/ 335m nvidia/4gb ram/soft touch stealth black

    $778 before tax

The Alien FX is built into the command center so you dont have to worry about that. As to the OS overylay i'm not sure (its really a coin flip) but if they scrubbed the OS more than likely you arent going to get it.

But i believe there is a way to get the OS overlay back, i just cant remember if its available on Dell's site or through windowblindz

(Moved to M11x Subforum as they can probably help you better there)
