Hello everyone! I have just registered to this forum, but I have been an active reader for sometime. I have a problem with my new laptop. I just received it today and the internal speakers are not working. Sound coming through my microphones works just fine. I am sure that if I put external speakers, it would work fine too. I have been messing with the sound settings to try and remedy the problem, but no use. This seems like a silly problem, but if you guys can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

the speakers might not be plugged into the motherboard. you could go lurking inside your new laptop if thats the case.
