I'm in the same boat as you coming from an aspire one to the m11x however I didn't get my machineyet. I'll be getting it in a couple more days and I'll let you know how good it works out.

Looks good. I don't think anything really needs to be modified. Maybe an SSD would be nice, but those are EXPENSIVE.

Order by phone. Save that in cart and haggle the price down. I've had good luck getting amazing deals.

That looks like the going price right now for that laptop. If you have the option to configure it online, I'd reccomend you add bluetooth wireless since it's cheap and helps make you future-proof.

Also beware that it could take up to a month for you to get your system, lots of delay going on right now.

I sold my Aspire One 532 last night, and I'm looking forward to my m11x Friday. The AspireOne is a great machine for the price, but it always left me wanting more. At least with the m11x I know there is no more to want!

As much as I agree with you guys on the solid state hard drives, I would skip it and wait until they fall in price a bit. The computer currently will run quick, once you think it is getting slow drop the money on a new SSD and a 2.5" enclosure for the hard drive that is currently in the system. This is what I am gonna do 6 months or so down the road. It will be like a new computer again!

Please don't buy the factory SSD. It has the edge in storage, but that's it. It's slower than every SSD in the market right now,and there are newer SSDs rolling out in the next few months.
