    No desktop icon for Portal??

    I installed the free OEM Portal from Steam and it did not generate an icon for the desktop. In fact, I can't even find the game files. It plays fine but I have to start the game through Steam.
    I installed Half Life 2 and Half Life 2 Episode One and both of those put an icon on my desktop.
    Did I just forget to make the choice for an icon for that game when I installed it??
    Enjoying my new toy. ;)

    Open up Steam and go to Library > Games. You should see Portal listed there on the left. Right click on it and choose Create Desktop Shortcut.
