    New Nvidia Optimus drivers courtesy of Segar. I removed the PhysX version that was included as it was an older one with known problems with Optimus. Make sure to install the latest version of PhysX with this driver. It is also a good idea to keep the Intel GPU in your notebook up to date, I have included a link to it below. The Intel drivers say they are for desktop but should install fine.

    Driver: Nvidia Optimus 259.39 - Win7 64bit

    PhysX: Latest PhysX Download (v9.10.0513 as of this post)

    Intel Gfx: Latest Intel HD Driver (v15.17.10.2189 as of this post)

    Install Instructions: Extract to a folder of your choosing. (Make sure to extract to an empty folder if you are just running the self-extracting executable.) Open that folder and run Setup.exe.

    This is a modified driver package based on an OEM driver from Segar. I have included modified INFs for most if not all known Optimus notebooks. (Including some that are missing from the official Verde packages.) These are use at your own risk and carry no official support. Always be careful installing modified drivers as they have little to no testing. I do not have a M11xR2 or an Optimus notebook so in this case they have not been tested. (You can trust me though, really. Mwahahah *Twists Mustache*)

    Do the desktop Intel drivers have the same power saving features etc. that are found on the laptop drivers...?

    The only difference in the INF is the actual version (DriverVer string) everything else is the same.

    [DriverVer=07/ 19/2010,8.15.10.218 2 <> DriverVer=07/ 28/2010,8.15.10.218 9]

    So yes everything should function exactly the same.

    I know nVidia has been pretty easy to update, just install the new version. I'll give it a try.

    how about intel and physix? any specific order or uninstall, or just install these too? I had problems with the intel before so just wondering.

    thanks Nautis

    I don't get it, I installed these drivers and now my WEI for Graphics (Desktop performance for Windows Aero) dropped to 2.8. What gives?
