    It looks like we can influence the decision of which gpu the optimus will use.

    This came with my r2 factory installed as default, or the UI is the same as I have now atm.

    just ordered my m11x a few days ago, so I can't compare the UI :) .
    I thought the only issue of the lower battery life was because the 335 is burning the battery, while surfing on flash pages and stuff.

    Because physical there will only 3-4 more watts compared to the Core 2 duo.

    i seen this thread i tot i wanted to raise a question to the poster. however after going back and forth on what he post apparently i spotted that that is most likely a typo. i believe he meant 257.30 instead of 287.30. probably type wrongly on his numpad.
