Noticed today that my network traffic was running far higher than normal due to the process daemonu.exe, which is the Nvidia update manager. Now, normally this wouldn't be a problem but during the day I am on mobile broadband which is metered so I killed the process. I've done some digging around, but there doesn't seem to be any way to change the settings for the Nvidia update manager to update either manually or when I know I will be at home. The control panel is purely for the graphics and I cannot see anywhere else where I can play with settings - anyone know how I can change this?

stop the service.

Since I use this machine mostly away from home, it spends its week mostly on a WWAN connection so I like to control this kind of behaviour so software does not try to pull down a huge update over the telephony network.
