    Hey Everyone,

Decided to start a thread (per User: Flanders suggestion) that is dedicated to pictures and descriptions of peoples custom M11X Setups...

Post your pics of where your m11x is setup, what kind of lap desk/ cooler/ ect you are using, and any other interesting or innovative setup ideas you have.

Heres my r1 setup on my nightstand. I attached a tray on the left side of my laptop cooler with a mesh bag to hold my external hd. Attached the mouse pad on the right side of my cooler with a usb hub connected underneath. Can pick the entire unit up with one hand and move it anywhere I want its perfect!

My crappy desk: [Gosh, I really need to replace this ancient thing. I've been using it for fifteen years.]
    Code:
From top to bottom, left to right: Dell U3011, Razer Mako speakers, Logitech USB mic, (behind) external HDD, Razer Mako control puck, Zune dock, Razer Mamba charging station / receiver, (behind) ASUS external DVD-RW, Das Keyboard Ultimate (no print on the keys, elite! ;)), Razer Mamba, Alienware m11x with all ports filled and at the bottom, (behind) another external drive, Razer Mako's subwoofer

What was on my screen: (I don't need no stinking horizontal scroll bars ;) ) [Admittedly, a demonstration]

    You mean this?
    http://www.irsmurf.com/forums/notebook/surround.jpg
3D Vision Surround, 4.2Ghz Core i7, SLI GTX 480's, blah, blah, blah.

I decided I needed to game less and study more, so I sold it all for the m11x. And no, I'm not a spoiled teen, I'm twenty-four and working an internal support role for... a big company. (Sorry, not permitted to name it.)

Great idea for a thread guys. Some great shot's. I am a big fan of seeing how people have their machines setup.

Flanders, how do you have the two AW monitors connected to the M11x? One vis DVI and the other VGA?

And the M11x running the 30" dell monitor is awesome :)

I can't tell whether or not you're being sarcastic. :)

With generously overclocked Core i7 and SLI GTX 480's, gaming sessions would heat my room to just over 90°F. Have you ever played FPS in that kind of heat?

Admittedly, I could have just turned on the AC. But my rig, monitors, and speakers were consuming over 1kW, already. Constantly running the the AC would probably have thoroughly ticked off my roommate. :p

Yep, one is HDMI and the other is via the DisplayPort, with an HDMI adapter.

Vents off the side, stays cool without a silly extra mat or 3rd party fan. Razor Kabuto mouse pad and g9x mouse.

I don´t have a solid setup, sometimes I use my Samsung 32" HDTV 1080p as a monitor, sometimes as a extended monitor, and sometimes I game on my TV while doing normal stuff in my m11x

I plan to do a solid setup soon, but I need to change some stuff in my desk, because it was like this before I got my m11x:

Im suprised to see so many of you using the m11x as your main pc...not a bad idea considering how much extra space there is. My Aurora is half the size of my desk...

I originally wanted a netbook as my new main, but the m11x worked many times better for that.

Here's mine. I'm most proud of that Apple Cinema Display. I literally found it in the trash pile. I fixed with a folded Post-It note.

    I know it's a mess.

I obviously don't know the right way to insert an image.

For browsing I just use the touchpad with the laptop usually in my lap...

For our tent counterstrike matches usually it's on the stand, with a manilla folder mousepad on the side of the plywood :p
