Just picked up a copy of BFBC2 today and seems i cant play it at all... i OCed my gpu to 585/1404 and even 600/1440 with CPU Oced(would oc it more then 1.6 if i knew how :x) and I cant get this game to play on the lowest settings with everything to 1x or off without even hitting low 30's. Every single time im shooting at someone, or theres a couple of people shooting at each other or at me it Always drops to a good 17~21 fps, and when im not doing ANYthing i stay at 23~41 and ONLY 30+ if im looking at the wall or something similar to it.
So is this problem only occurring with me? Or can the m11x just not handle this game? Its pretty disappointed, if it cant even do this.. at the lowest settings.
A couple of things to note if this changes anything:
Maps: I've pretty much played in most of them, they all have the same results.
Internet/Ping: Joined only the lowest >100 and have a 10mbit connection so no way its lag.
Population: Joined 16 and 32 man servers, 16 seemed to be a bit better but still way too laggy/jumpy to even aim properly when shooting/shot at.
Modes:Rush, Team Death, and 2 Others i cant remember.
Driver: Nvidia 258.96
Bios: AO2? i think thats what its called.
Model:M11XR1
Settings overall on computer: Turned off Any unneeded processes, even toggled Realtime, and High to use both cores solely on BFBC2 as well as Performance saver on Nvidia control pannel(I used automatic adjust to program setting and got the same results)

So you've basically tried everything except reading the stickies, which will solve all of your problems?

And there's even a BFC2 optimization thread somewhere on the forums, just search for it. -
Is your laptop in "discrete only mode" in the BIOS? otherwise install the dell 197 drivers
