I am new to this forum. I recently got a R2 and i love it. There is so much information in these forums which is very useful...but its scattered all over..
I have seen in several other forums that there is a single thread with only the useful technical information. Information like:
    1) How to overclock the CPU?
    2) How to overclock the GPU?
    3) How to turbo boost the CPU?
    4) How to add a .exe to Optimus profile?
    5) Which is Current best GPU driver to use and instructions for installing it?
    6) How to know if Intel/Nivida drivers are in use?
    7) Which are the best tools/utilities to find out if the CPU/GPU?Battery are running fine?

These are only some of the questions and experts can add more basic useful information and mods can maintain the thread to keep only the useful information and have so many pages.

This is just a thought and will be useful to newbies like me.. mods can delete this thread if they think its unnecessary..

    I'll answer what I can:
    1 - BIOS
2 - Software utility (not sure what everyone is using)
3 - Automatic. You can't control it other than disabling it completely (in bios)
4 - Right click the EXE (not the shortcut) and add it to NVIDIA profile
5 - Don't know. It is hit or miss based on what games you play since some drivers crash certain games.
6 - Thread regarding this, has optimus in the title, can't remember the name :). It has apps that let you monitor. Found it - http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-m11x/495489-m11xr2-optimus-test-tools.html#post6407371
7 - HWMonitor although some people say it monitors the wrong vid card, for battery I can't remember the name.

I have all this info just from browsing the boards. I don't even own an M11x...yet :)
