I just received my Orochi and wired it works fine but bluetooth I cannot get it to connect unless I have the mouse on the palmrest of the laptop. As soon as I move it off the palmrest I loose connection. I tried to update the firmware, new batteries and even another bluetooth mouse which works fine.
Any ideas?

It might be the mouse if the other one works fine take or send it back for new one, it happens.

Have any other bluetooth devices to test with?
EDIT: Sorry. See you've already tested with other BT mouse... -
I have a Razer Bluetooth mouse too (not Orochi) and I notice that mine stutters a lot due to wireless interference, which is a lot more noticeable when transferring files and such. I know it's probably not what's going on with you but you may want to try disabling the wlan on the laptop and see what happens anyway. Otherwise, it sounds like a problem with the mouse.

Used 2 other BT mice....was REALLY hoping to not have to return it...felt like it took forever to get here.

Called Dell (who I bought it from) and they are sending me another one shipped next day.
