As of the past 2 days I noticed that my overall performance as decreased rather dramatically. Here is some frame data from TF2, a game I play regularly.
Normally I would get frames in the 50s out of battle and 20s in intense combat. Now I get 50s right when I spawn ( assuming a small spawn room ), 40-30s out of battle and intense battle can make it dip down to 15-20. Do note that I have changed nothing, it just stopped doing as well as normal one day. I also played some other games to test my theroy and just as I though I have lower performance in them too.

So far I have checked my temperatures ( normal temps 40 idle, 60 gaming ), defraged the games ( not the computer yet, time issues ) and did virus/spy ware scans ( With avast and superantispyware, they seem to be the most reliable programs out there ).

What I need help with is a list of things to do in order to "clean up" what is bogging down my computer or confirm that it is an issue with the hardware.

Edit - Oh my... I started looking at my disk fragmentation and my C drive was 19% fragmented, I am assuming this is a major problem, even more of a major problem is how long it is taking to drefragment, its taking so long I am not even sure it is doing anything.
