Hello. I have just received my m11x-r2 and am naturally curious about the various features and options it has to offer. I do wish to utilize the full computing power of the laptop, but only situations where power is unlimited. Otherwise, I prefer battery life to ensure long-lasting portable use. As such is the case, I was wondering if it is possible to have CPU overclock settings effective only when the laptop is plugged in; on battery power, the bios settings would revert to the standard/default clock settings. While it is easy enough to switch between these settings manually, I would love (if it is even possible) a sort of dynamic (even optimus-like) feature for the processor. Any help on the matter would be appreciated.

You are stuck with doing it in the bios.

That's a little disheartening, haha, but thanks for the response

Yup, BIOS only. At least its a very quick and easy thing to change (well, very quick if you have a solid state drive in there ;) ).
