Is it possible to play Medal of Honor from the hard drive rather than having to use the external dvd drive any help appreciated.

Download it via Steam or the EA Download Manager. If you've already got in on disc I think you can input the CD-Key into the EADM and it'll download it. (I did this with The Sims 3.

I vote for the Steam route. Like stated above, I'm pretty sure you can put in your CD key... if not, try emailing them and seeing what they say.

I purchased the game legally, and installed it legally from the DVD (not Steam or EADM) and am able to play without the DVD. I think there is an option in the installation for using DVD or not. I don't remember. But I have never played off of the DVD, only my HD. Try reinstalling from the disk and looking for this option.

EADM should allow you to activate the option to play it without the CD by inputing your code. Steam will not do the same. (atleast not with Mass Effect 2)
