I'm ready to pull the trigger on an m11x. I'm interested, but not totally locked down with the i5 model.

I'm fine with buying the core 2 duo, as it probably won't see much use when I'm home. I mostly just want to be able to run games when I feel like it, and will usually use the little beast for watching movies.

If I'm buying the R1 / C2D I'd prefer it to be sub 400, and wouldn't mind dropping up to $700 on the R2 i5. I know the i5 was recently $660, and I'm sad to have missed out.

Anyone know a good place to poke around and check for deals or somewhere that has it cheap?

Let me know, if I get a super deal on an m11x, maybe I'll shoot you a few dollars via paypal!

    Thanks guys.

Is the audio pretty good on the R1 & R2?

I'll probably mostly play World of Warcraft on it, everything else should be pretty light, I've heard the c2d is better for this?

for world of warcraft the r1 can get about 10 fps more oddly, but your going to want to OC the cpu, also the sound is Great for a laptop of this size. better then most 15 inch laptops

the speakers are average. the sound out of the headphone jacks is very clean, though, with no hiss, buzzing, or other weird noises with my Shure SE530s (which pick up a whole lot of buzzing on my work laptop Dell Latitude C630.
