Whenever I use my tv as a display, several odd things happen:
1. My desktop icons rearrange themselves. How do I prevent this?
2. My desktop doesn't seem to fit (IE: the screen seems to trail off the edges). The tv's max resolution is 1920x1080p, yet I had to readjust the screen to 1818x1012. Is this normal, if not, how do I make my desktop fit on the tv?

2. Open the Intel Graphic Properties and customize the Apect Ratio. There are 2 sliders there to adjust how far over the screen goes. I also have to do this when I connect my M11x to a TV.

Does your desktop icons rearrange themselves whenever you connect to your tv?
-
Thats a weird one... I am guessing that maybe you have your desktop full of icons and they are re-arranging to the new screen size. I only have 3 desktop icons and they are always in the same spot when connecting to my 62" TV.

Yes, icons re arrange everytime I plug the HDTV (I have a 1080p 32"), I guess is normal since it goes from 1366x768 to 1920x1080, so to avoid that, I did this:

Cleaned the desktop a little.... -
