Recently purchased an M11x R2 and have been having trouble playing any game that uses punkbuster. PB Games that I have are Halo - Combat Evolved, BC2, CoD4, CoD5, CoD6, BF2, and BF2142 all give this error.

Currently I am running Dells latest nvidia driver released on 7/19/2010 with no luck.
I also have installed the 285 driver with the modded .inf

both drivers give me this PB error after several minutes of game play.

When I uninstall all NVIDIA drivers and run the game on Intel's integrated graphics I dont get the PB error, but suffer at 5 FPS

    I don't have TS overlay
I do have FRAPS but still get error when it is uninstalled
I even eliminated all non essential start up programs in MSCONFIG and still get error. Then turned them all back on.

Please help at wits end cause the only games I have up and running are Diablo 2, Starcraft 1, and Flight Simulator X!

Also why does computer get so hot when playing diablo 2? it only runs on 800x600 resolution.

Any help getting my M11xR2 to run these games that uses PB would be greatly appreciated.

    Tes

I dont think there is a fix until it comes from Punkbuster or Nvidia. There was someone who said the original drivers allowed you to play which didnt work for me.
I would like to play Battlefield Heroes & BFBC2 at some point.

m11xr2 Stock gpu drivers work fine for me with bc2. However I can't for the life of me get FallOut3 to work at all. Constantly crashes to desktop after you attempt to start a new game.

Reckon I'll try the new modded drivers shortly (at the loss of bc2 alas).

Hohum, let's hope nv/pb get their heads together soon.

The 189's work but the performance for newer games like StarCraft 2 suffer pretty badly compared to the 258's, in my case anyway.

its odd for your case i see. 189.79 perform pretty well with SC2. stock driver posted by Nvidia is 189.69 (note that in case ppl not aware this is not a typo as one I posted is actually slightly higher) does not even work with SC2. Personally I have tested it before posting out. SC2 have not suffer on my machine. Also seen report that it actually utilize the GPU slightly better when they tested it.
