So I read about someone putting a mifi into their ipad, looking at the mifi pictures I think we would be able to fit the same mifi mod into our m11x. Then we could have mobile broadband for our laptops, plus up to 4 others too. Mobile LAN party on the bus?

You could probably power it with USB.

The alternative and what I think makes more sense would be just to get a 3G/Evo/WiMax miniPCIe card and then share the connection. The stock wireless card and pretty much all newer cards can turn into a AP. If you didn't order your M11x with the 3G card than you'll need to add the extra antennas or steal one from your wifi card, but that should be easier than fitting a mifi on the inside.

Cost of your flip phone + mifi would be more than the smart phone's monthly costs I assume, plus, w/ a smartphone wifi, there is no data limit (Really depends on provider, and I think mifi do have limits)

Anyways, I guess it's one's personal preference. Enjoy.

I dont want a smart phone, its useless to me.

I have to bring the internet everywhere then, My wife likes to go online some times too so it would be nice to leave it at home.
