Hey Guys My R1 Has A Slightly Larger Gap On The Left Hinge Than The Right Hinge. This Is Only Noticeable When The Laptop Is Open As They Are Even When It's Not. There Is No Noise When Opening And Closing It So I Was Wondering If It's Worth Returning, Like Is My Hinge Going To Break Completely In Six Months? By The Way I Realize That There Is Already A Thread Related To This Subject, But It Is Focused On The Issue Of The Screen Touching The Keyboard. I Already Use A Screen Protector Anyways And I'm Really Just Concerned About The Longevity Of My Laptop's Hinges.

I would definitely call Dell. It's something they need to fix.

If it was me, I would call Dell if my warranty was close to up, and if it wasn't, I wouldn't bother until (1) it gave me a problem or (2) my warranty was about up. I don't really see the point of going through the trouble of getting it fixed if it isn't an issue as long as it can be fixed in the future if it becomes an issue.
