    I am trying to use the recovery option on my MX but it is asking for a password,I do not remember setting one, can this be found or bypassed

    sorry for the newb question. :(

    its probably the password you use to log in.

    people still password protect windows? isn't it one of the easiest things to get around...

    i password protect everything, just incase one of the people in my house wanna be nosy and go through files.
