I recently purchased an alienware m11x from the states (I live in Canada) that had been used for two weeks. The system arrived and is fine. I was wondering if I am still covered under the first year warranty, since it is between countries.
If not, anyway has anyone had any experience with square trade?
thanks

I went to this link to transfer ownership
Dell - International Ownership Transfer Form
but when you have to select what product you own theres not alienware option... -
Call Alienware (not Dell). The standard warranty of all alienware machines has worldwide coverage, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Not sure what to tell you about the ownership transfer beyond giving Dellienware a call.
As for Square Trade, there are a couple of threads on their warranties vs Dell's. -
I called alienware and they explained everything I needed to know in just a matter of seconds. It's a toll free number.
