Does someone know when dell is going to ship the M11x edition with a stonger graphic card then the - NVIDIA GeForce GT 335M?
because this card is getting older and older, and this is the only graphic card that they offer...

Probably not until there's a decent CPU refresh from Intel. So I guesstimate 2nd half of 2011.

Or a decent GPU refresh from AMD. For the mobile versions of the GPU, likely *just* before the new Intel mobile CPU.

Less likely, is a power conservative variant of Fermi mobile, that's also really powerful.

Even the old Intel GMA X3100 could run those games, just a ball low settings. The 335m can run those games for a while. Heck, if you talk to the Intel 9xx Soldiers Sans Frontiers (of which I am/was a part of) the even older Intel GMA 950 can run many games that are deemed impossible to run on the Intel GMA 950.

It will very likely continue running games for a long while, at least until DX10/DX11 (compatibility mode) is completely outmodded.

It isn't such a bad card. I mean we can play games like the Fallout series, Oblivion, Red Faction, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and the like with little to no problems. The only time I seem to have any trouble is with RTS games like Empire, or the newer Command and Conquer games. I think the weak CPU is probably our Achilles' heel.

Edit: well in my case, I own an R1 with the 1.3GhZ processor

Mine has been able to run L4D, L4D2, STALKER: SOC, Red Faction Guerilla, Battlefield 2 and TF2 all on high/very high settings. BFBC2 and GTA4 had to be played on medium/high settings or I noticed some lag.
