Hi! I bought a m11x r2 off ebay about 4 months ago from the US, I currently live in Norway. The laptop is not working as it should and I need it repaired. When I log in and enter my service ID it says United States, do I need to contact the ebay seller to be able to transfer the warranty to Norway, or can I do this myself?

You should be able to transfer the warranty yourself with no issues. you need to fill out this form from the m11x Dell - Ownership Transfers

and i believe that the warranty is covered internationally.

Ok thanks. When i went in the Dell Ownership transfers it says: NOTE: Transfers can only be made within the same country (US to US, Canada to Canada, Mexico to Mexico, etc.)

I need it to go from United States to Norway, maybe this is not possible?

First thing you should've done was transferring the warranty.

Not sure how it will be handled now but I hope you have all the previous owner information.

I agree with ACHlLLES, you should have done that at the start. It might be a problem now doing it, you should contact the Ebay seller and transfer your warranty status.

Yeah, I should have done it at the start. I found this form: Dell - International Ownership Transfer Form So all I do is get the ebay seller's name and email, then fill out the form and the warranty will move over? Alienware products are supported right? I can't find Alienware on the product menu on the form.
