Hello all. I recently purchased a 500 GB SDD/HDD Hyrbrid Drive, and I just wanted to make sure, would it be possible for me to just remove the old HDD, place the new one in, and boot up, and just reinstall all my programs/drivers/games, and then I'll be good to go? If not, I have the Resources and Windows 7 disks, just in case.

I'm also upgrading my RAM, as I'm planning on doing the pinmod, and was just wondering, if I just snap it in, the 8 GBs will be automatically used, right?

The new hard drive won't have an operating system on it. You'll have to place the new hard drive into your computer, then use the Windows 7 disk to install the OS. Once the OS is installed, you'll have to install the drivers either from the resource disk or from the internet.

The RAM will be recognized automatically as long as you have a 64-bit version of Windows 7.
