    Hi Guys

Tried to run Medal of Honor Warfighter on my R1 as it has not let me down with any other games so far : ) When I try to run the game I get an error that says "Detected Nvida driver version 263.08.The recommended driver version is 285.30 or later. Please update your drivers at nvida.com before playing the game."

From what I have read the R1 is not supported because of the switchable graphics and there isn't a newer driver that works properly.

Has anyone found a workaround for this? Is there some way to make the game use the drivers I have? Searched the forum and google but no luck.

    Thanks for your help.

    Gerry

By Bios - set the discrete GPU - than You can install a new nVidia driver .

That is the easiest and probably best solution. There are two other options I know of though...

Custom install where you try to keep switchable setup but with newer drivers
Custom install using a preset driver version. Switching disabled, but both GPU active (opti style)

I'm using the second method. Not for games but for the screen choices. It WILL reduce your batt run time!

Both alt ideas discussed here in this link. Try not to get them confused.
