    Judging on how Medal of honor and Battlefield BC2 play, i am hoping that BF3 will be fully playable on low-low medium settings. I own a 360 as well so if not i know i can fall back to console, but, BF is just not a console game and i am hoping that i can play on the R1

    So this thread is just here so that all us R1 users can discuss and speculate about BF3, as well as talk about optimizations for BC2, (im running smooth on medium ) (26fps) and what not

    lets hope DICE makes BF3 like how Blizz made Starcraft II, playable on even the slowest of computers (IE my HP Laptop), and great on our Gaming Computers

    let the speculation begin

    I believe that it's in every developer's interest to make sure their games scale well on as many systems as possible. Game developers don't want to release a game that only 20% of people can play... that's why Blizzard games tend to be insanely successful... you can play them on almost *anything*

    I think DICE will try to make their new game engine as efficient as possible and I think it will scale well. Whether or not the R1 can handle it is another matter entirely though. Depends on how processor intensive the game is.

    on the topic of processor intensive, i heard frostbite is more GPU dependent, which would be good for us r1 users, in the end i dont think we will be running at Maximum settings, but i think that we won't have much of a problem running the game, i believe the reason why some people were having trouble with BFBC2 was because it was Frostbite's first time on PC, so it may take a few games (MOH, 1943, BFBC2) to finally get it as good as it can be.

    BFBC2 was a port to the PC. BFBC3 won't be, as BFBC3's main platform is the PC. Can't believe DICE canceled 1943... :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
