    Be careful as I have found that the Nvidia GPU is always on when using EVGA Precision tool. I gained about 30-40 mins of battery by making sure it was off. It must be constantly polling the gpu.

    Just close EVGA, the OC settings will hold. You can verify this in CPU-Z
