Ok, so I just tried to play Portal on my R2.
I clicked the play button, but got a pop up window saying the graphics device is not recognized.
The device listed was the Intel HD, not the NVidia 335m.
So I clicked play anyway. Trying to play it and the FPS is very low, the graphics are choppy and it's lagging quite badly in some places. This is a stark contrast to youtube vids I've seen of the M11x running Portal extremely smoothly on the highest graphics settings.
I'm guessing the Graphics device isn't switching to the 335m when trying to play the game.
Also, my CPU is overclocked to 166mhz, so that's not the problem.
Any ideas how to fix?

It is an optimus issue, there is a whole thread about it somewhere in the first few pages of this forum. Go there and profit.

Ok I got it working. I followed that thread's instructions and downloaded the drivers for both the graphics devices and it's working flawlessly.
Looks amazing BTW!
Thanks for the fast reply Yoda
