    R3 Cover Alien Logo Eyes: Programmable?

    On my R3, it seems the only thing the eyes on the external cover do is light up white when the unit is powered on. I didn't see any settings in the software to customize this, which I thought surprising. I'd like for the eyes to remain on when the unit is in Sleep mode. Ideas?

    It's light source is from the screen's backlight, so it's only on when the screen is on. It isn't programmable unfortunately.

    As far as I Know the eyes light up through the backlight of the screen, so if the display is off they won't light up
