Overclocking doesn't seem to be the answer to either of those problems. That would have to do with the wifi card for download speed. Keep in mind wired is usually faster then wireless. If your laptop is slower then other wireless you might be further away, or your laptops network card isn't as good (you could upgrade it)

As for the graphic issue, I'm not sure what youre talking about. If its in windowed mode try alt enter and see if that puts it in fullscreen or check the options. If youre talking about it having black bars on the sides that means it's keeping the aspect ratio to prevent stretching and you need to set the resolution to widescreen or change the nvidia control panel off of keep aspect ratio to stretch to fullscreen.

I'm glad you eventually got your M11x and are in love with it!

Games should normally default to fullscreen and native resolution. Go to the in-gmae settings of the game you want to play and see if you can change the game to fullscreen or 1366x768 resolution (which will use the entire screen). You've basically got a top of the line R3 and it is pretty fast anyway, but if you want to pull the most performance you can out of it, you can:

Overclock the GPU: I use MSI Afterburner and it is pretty good. Play around with your OC settings, starting small and working your way up until you have satisfyed your quest for performance or you hit the overclocking wall ;)

Use Gamebooster: Gamebooster is a program that kills unnecessary services to reduce wasted memory and CPU processes that can be dedicated to the game you a playing instead. You will probably not notice any increases in performance unless the game is on the verge of unplayable.

Invest in a SSD: If you don't already have one, replacing your HDD with a SSD is a huge improvement in general performance. You won't notice any difference in games (apart from maybe loading times) but all other tasks will seem alot snappier. Boot up time is also dramatically reduced and you should get a little better battery life.

They are just a few things I can think of but I hope it helps. Enjoy your R3!

I'm assuming you're outputting to an external monitor because that's what mine did when I started using a monitor. If you're not, it's basically the same fix anyway. Just go into the settings and set the screen resolution to something close to what you have. Play around with it, the greater the number, the higher resolution of course.

I'm pretty sure 99% of games you can change the resolution on. For counter-strike source for example: You go into the main menu (esc I think), go to options, video, and voila there's screen resolution right there. You could also just put full screen and see if it stretches, but the higher resolution, the better.
