    M11xR3.

Here's what happened(according to my friend):

He was gaming and the laptop randomly shut down. Now every time the laptop is turned on, it shuts off after 10 seconds. It can get to the bios screen, windows screen etc. but no matter what it turns off after 10 seconds.

    Any ideas?

I haven't been able to try anything yet, my friend will be dropping the laptop off tonight.

I probably should have worded things better.

After pressing the power button, the laptop turns off after around 10 seconds no matter what I do.

If I go to the BIOS, same issue.

Found the issue. It was the battery. The indicator light on the battery stayed lit even after removing it. However the laptop is working fine on ac only, so it'll just need a new battery.
