    The G.skill 2x4gb kit has also been reported by 2 people on these forums as not being able to reach max OC.

    It doesn't make a difference in the m11x what clock the memory can run at, because they will all operate at a lower frequency in the m11x anyway. Also, remember that faster RAM has higher latencies (CAS9 for 1333 vs CAS7 for 1066 typically), and there is some suspicion that that may affect overclockability since the m11x also locks timings to 6-6-6-15.
