    Rainbow keyboard possible on the m11x?

    It would be fantastic. Weird though that they added this feature with the m15 and 17, but not for the 11.

    yeah and i dont know what the difference is between the 3 computers....besides the sizes growing and the specs..

    Product differentiation guys. Not that the components aren't justification for the prices of each model, but these details are too. To some, the rainbow keyboard is just enough to push them towards purchasing the M15x over the M11x.

    It should be possible though, but I wouldn't expect AW to release the program. Would have to be third-party.

    I think the third party app AlienFX Lite can do it. Not the normal Command Center though.

    Is it not possible to do advanced themes for the M11x?

    I know that the entire keyboard is just one AlienFX 'light', so different sections can't have different colours, but surely you can choose to morph colours?

    Not possible as there is ONE LED controller for the keyboard. Software programing of a rainbow keyboard is not going to be possible at all.

    I have mine so that it morphs into rainbow colors. Its in the alienware color schemes. You can create new schemes, make the colors flash and what not.

    @equairoli - that can be done but multiple colors cannot be achieved at the same time.

    But if the LED controller is false at powering one colour LED at a time, then if some one makes a flashware that will get me rainbow colours, I will make multiple accounts to give you rep (just joking :D).

    I don't know if someone mentioned it, but you should really get the winamp alienfx plugin. I set it up today and it is AWESOME!

    It would absolutely kill performance of this thing. Any deviation from one color and you are talking serious performance hits from what I've seen.
