Hey fellow M11X owners just wanted you to know that Red Faction Guerrilla is on sale today for $4.99 on Steam. I like the game and bought it for $19.95 so I thought I would let people kmow.

Red Faction and Red Faction 2 are also on sale at US$2.49 each.

Hmm... not sure if I'm going for these. I remember playing the demo of the first game for hours at a time, making Minecraft style creations with the cool destructible-environments engine. But I'm not so sure I'll enjoy the games nowadays. Haven't played the sequels much at all though.

I want it, my only concern are the controls, I hope you can just plug the wired 360 controller...

This game is a blast, breakin' stuff is fun. I got it a few weeks ago for $6 from Direct2Drive. I cannot believe that Steam actually has it for a better price right now.

Red Faction Guerrilla is worth the full price so if it is that cheap, don't miss out. The fully destructible environment is serious fun and you can literally drive a truck through the enemies entire base watching back as everything is demolished (if you do it right). Some describe this game as GTA IV on mars but it is much more than that. My copy has some bonus content which is like a different game set on the same planet.

I love that game! I highly recommend it if you had a bad day at work or school and want to drive trucks through buildings lol

For controls, I use a Logitech F310 gamepad. I set the switch on the back of the joystick to "X" mode and it appears as an "X360" controller to most games. I replaced my older Logitech Dual-Action pad with this one. (Gave the old one to my girl.)

Yeah, I run it on medium-ish settings. It slows down a bit when you break a lot of stuff or have lots of debris on the screen at once. I just overclock and it's almost as smooth as the PS3 version.

Got this game yesterday, I love it so far... though I admit I've spent more time driving around and running into stuff than I have actually doing missions.

With several of the week-long "deal-a-day" Steam sales, they have brought back some of the deals on the Friday. Watch Steam on Friday and you may get lucky.
