I only used my m11x r2 for a week and there are three critical problems I noticed with the manufacturing. I should have realized sooner but unfortunately, I did not..

I contacted sales representative through live chat support and I was connected to the one who helped me with the ordering process of the laptop. She called me through my cell phone and connected me directly to the Customer Care representative. She told me that they will replace my m11x r2 with a brand new one and that I will have to wait five to nine business days for it to be manufactured and examined again by Dell technicians specially in order to prevent me from receiving another similar faulty laptop.

So far, I am satisfied with how Dell Hong Kong is reacting to my faulty m11x r2. I also get to use my current m11x r2 until the new one arrives. I hope my attitude toward Dell Hong Kong remains constant (satisfied) by it sending me a properly built and well working m11x r2.

or else I will have to ask for refund

I too was told this but the next one also arrived in a bad way, worst than the first, and had obviously come off a pile already built and waiting to go!. Or they have no proper quality control.
I am cynical but I believe they could really get them to you in 3 days but this whole technicians checking the replacement over is thing is pure rubbish imo.
I did get a brilliant 3rd system though and overall Dell support was pretty good. Plus the 1 year extension of my warranty and £117 compensations sweetened the bitter taste a little :D
I hope your new system is as you want it. If it is you will fall in love with your little alien..........

Wait... so the point of making this was..?(not trying to pick a fight). Anyhow yeah congrats on dells replacement, they usually do anything they can to not get you to return anything from the first month of purchase, after that you can expect 2 hour long calls.

Are you saying there's no value to posting about positive experiences with Dell support?

I stand corrected, my good sir. But again I note, after the first month it's hell, to get good service.

Thats true, I had some problems with my m11xr2, after a month, I should have called it to AW right when I first noticed them. Though the tech guys are AW take forever, like 2-3 hours on the phone, but they got the job done for me

Glad they are going to give you a new system, congrats
