Hi recently bought M11x r1 andit came with 250gb Hitachi hd.
    I just got a seagate momentus 7200.4 500GB.
Should I replace the 250 hitachi?
which one is better for games and overall performance ?
    Thanks!

Yes, replace the Hitachi 7200rpm 250GB drive that came with your system. It's pretty easy to do, once you pop the bottom panel off of the laptop.

You really won't see a performance difference in either drive in real-world situations. You will need to get something like a Solid State Disk or the Seagate Momentus XT in order to see any real gains in OS load times and application/game load times. However, since you already bought the 500GB drive, and since it is larger than your 250GB, you might as well use it.
