    Hey Guys,

I am looking at my networks and it says I am currently connected to (NETGEAR35 *my router* and Network 5 *no internet connection.*

My computer is taking a very long time to access the internet while my mac and other pc can access the internet. My proxy is off. Have no clue why its doing this. Just started 3 days ago

Do you run VMware or anything for VM's? I do and it has "VMware Network Adapters" that show up as another network. Check your network connections to see what's listed there and see if anything looks funky. Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network Connections. Sometimes programs like PDAnet or VPN's will have random networks as well.

If you have an iphone and have hotspot on etc it creates another network connection.

What IP info is there? Any? LAN plugged in?

Ditto on the VM or other bridging software.

Have you tried removing the offending network?

if added by other hardware it might give him problems. You can try to disable instead?

    Literally registered to post this...

My brand new m11x was really slow when browsing the internet at home, but not at work. I discovered I had 2 virtual wifi devices (I think this is designed so you can set up adhoc networks and share your internet between other devices), I disabled those and it's worked flawlessly since.

So give that a go if you see them.

(in case you don't know where to find them, right click the wifi icon in the task bar "Open network and sharing center" then click "Change adapter settings" and right click/disable to virtual devices.

No idea why this helped, but it did.
