So I have this happen a couple of times. All of a sudden it appears that the gamma in my screen goes super high. I check all the settings and nothing changes. But in the screen it self all everything looks kind of washed out and too bright. After i restart my computer the issue goes away. This happens if I am just browsing the web. Does anyone know what this issue could be?

Is this on the Intel GPU? I've had a few quirks with this one...

I noticed my settings changed at weird times (more precisely, they reverted to the default settings) with the original version and a couple updated versions of the IGP drivers. The latest version has been good for me, so try updating those.

I've had this sudden inexplicable bump in gamma as well - and that is what you're seeing. I've had it happen perhaps a dozen times in the past 3.5 months. A restart is the only thing that will fix it too. I've got utilities that will reset the IGP's gamma LUT and they don't help. I've been running the latest Intel HD drivers since Nautis announced them a few weeks ago and it still happens. Very strange.

Yea, same exact issue I also have the AUO screen like you too. I plan on contacting Dell and seeing what we can do. I hope this, an uneven closing lid, and 1/2 the keys touching the screen will warrant a replacement.
